The Crooked Man: Memories
A downloadable game for Windows
There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse,
and they all lived together in a little crooked house.
The Crooked Man: Memories is a demo and a proof of concept about the tale of The Crooked Man.
Originally was created for the MiniJam 54 but has been improved and will still be improved in the future.
The theme of the game jam was memories, and the limitation is that the game must start and end with different genres. My approach was that the game starts as an exploration game with decisions and end up as a survival horror game, and reminding us that sometimes remembering isn't that good.

I really enjoyed playing this game, the grass is really well done and it's relaxing.
In my opinion the game still needs a background sound like wind or something.
In the first part of the level, there is a frase every few seconds saying he can't find anything, there should be a range of the orb to don't let that frase play, because I was in front of the orb ready to pick it up and the frase started.
I know you did this to a game jam but it's a promissing game, you should consider working on it.
Thanks for the support and kind words!
Already updated the game (you can read the changes in the devlog but both your complains are fixed now!).
I probably will try to work a bit on the game but won't be my main focus.
I just want to create a polished short demo and have a nice proof of concept about this tale.
Thanks again!
